Wave height forecasts for the Canadian portion of the Great Lakes
issued by Environment Canada at 6:30 p.m. EST Saturday 20 January
2018 for tonight and Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 3:00 a.m. EST Sunday.

Wave heights are for offshore and are forecast from trough to crest.
Nearshore waves may vary considerably due to shoreline effects.

Western Lake Superior.
Over open water waves less than one half metre building to one Sunday
evening.

Eastern Lake Superior.
Waves less than one half metre building to one Sunday evening.

Whitefish Bay.
Mainly ice covered.

Northern Lake Huron.
Over open water waves less than one half metre.

Southern Lake Huron.
Over open water waves less than one half metre.

Georgian Bay.
Over open water waves one metre subsiding to less than one half metre
near midnight.

Lake St. Clair.
Mainly ice covered.

Western Lake Erie.
Mainly ice covered.

Eastern Lake Erie.
Mainly ice covered.

Western Lake Ontario.
Waves one and one half metres subsiding to one near midnight and to
one half metre or less near noon Sunday.

Eastern Lake Ontario.
Over open water waves 2 metres subsiding to one late overnight and to
one half metre or less near noon Sunday.
