Wave height forecasts for Pacific waters issued by Environment Canada
at 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday 20 January 2018 for today tonight and
Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 4:00 p.m. PST.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

West Coast Vancouver Island North.
Seas 5 metres subsiding to 3 to 4 early this morning then building to
5 late this afternoon.

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Seas 5 metres subsiding to 3 to 4 early this morning then building to
4 to 6 late this afternoon. Seas building to 5 to 7 late this evening
then subsiding to 5 Sunday afternoon.

Queen Charlotte Sound.
Seas 4 metres building to 5 late this evening then subsiding to 4
Sunday morning.

Central Coast from McInnes Island to Pine Island.
Seas 3 metres building to 3 to 4 early this afternoon.

Hecate Strait - northern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 late this morning then
subsiding to 1 Sunday morning.

Hecate Strait - southern half.
Seas 3 metres building to 4 early this afternoon then subsiding to 3
Sunday evening.

Dixon Entrance East.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 late this morning.

Dixon Entrance West - west of Langara.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 late this morning and to 5
early this evening. Seas subsiding to 3 to 4 overnight and to 2 to 3
Sunday afternoon.

Dixon Entrance West - east of Langara.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 3 late this afternoon then subsiding
to 2 Sunday morning.

West Coast Haida Gwaii.
Seas 3 to 4 metres building to 5 early this evening then subsiding to
3 to 4 Sunday morning.

Bowie.
Seas 3 metres building to 5 late this morning then subsiding to 4
overnight. Seas subsiding to 3 Sunday afternoon.

Explorer - northwestern half.
Seas 3 to 4 metres building to 5 early this afternoon then subsiding
to 4 Sunday afternoon.

Explorer - southeastern half.
Seas 5 metres subsiding to 4 early this morning then building to 5 to
7 early this evening. Seas subsiding to 5 Sunday afternoon.
