Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Victoria County

Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system just south of Nova Scotia will track northeastward along the Atlantic coast tonight to lie over Newfoundland on Thursday.

Snow has changed to freezing rain and rain across portions southwestern Nova Scotia. This changeover is expected to occur over eastern coastal regions through the course of the night. Several hours of freezing rain is possible for some areas.

Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected for most areas.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
